I heard there are people developing relay proxy services where you send a list of relays to a server and it aggregates them all for you so you don't get redundant data.

I heard that Mutiny Wallet's relay was one such relay, distributing data to every instance online (unless they don't like you, I guess lol) and was using it until recently.

It's not the best setup regarding centralization concerns, but if I can have one Nostr relay to replace the 20+ I had beforehand alongside the Minds and Mostr relays, that'd be great.

I'd hope long term they would improve the protocol and clients to reduce redundant network usage, but I don't see much harm using a relay aggregator in the meantime.

I just added the ones from the Mostr website, plus the default ones in Damus, plus the Minds relay. I don’t have any problems on my phone.

Maybe it's a client issue in regards to the follower and following counts, as whenever I open up Plebstr with my reduced relay list it takes a while to catch up.

Example is down below before refreshing.
