I had this problem because my eye issues were caused by a cataract, not a natural eye deformation. As the cataract progressed, my prescription kept changing. LASIK would have required repeating approximately every five years. I recently had surgery to remove the cataract in the hope of resolving the problem permanently, though I remain skeptical it will fully succeed.
