The coiled serpent is a part of the spirit body's anatomy.

Humans have a rich history with psychedelics.

At least one family of psychedelics, ergot/LSD, gives us the ability to see magnetic fields including the spirit body and its anatomical components.

Greece and India both have a history with this and both traditions offer depictions of coiled serpents i.e. Kundalini Shakti and the Orphic Egg.

Beer making is a very old practice and where there is barley there is ergot so psychedelic trips explain why knowledge of chakras, nadis, Ida, Pingala, Sushumna, and Kundalini Shakti is distributed around the world but using different words.
