Because this violence is increasingly its own subset, such as with honor killings and women getting gang-raped.
This, in other words, is increasingly violence that targets women merely for their being women. It's not just couples squabbling over who spent the milk money on booze.

Much femicide is "honor killing", even if its not reported as such because of the skin colour of the perpetrator.
I remember reading a paper that of pregnant women injured by an intimate partner badly enough to require contact with the medical system, only ~50% of subsequent paternity tests found the perpetrator to be the biological father.
It's an increase in occurance. We can be quite sure of that, as the increase also affects manslaughter and murder rates, and those don't require self-reporting and have the best police statistics.

Sure. Please note that the absolute number of murders, attempted murders, rapes and gang-rapes are going up, but the population of young women is going down.

Hate to mention the elephant in the room.. There is good reason that our mothers taught us to not hit women. Now women "VOTERS" vote to bring in foreign men that were not taught as young men to hit women. and now these same women that voted to bring millions of uncouth unruly men complain of the violence.
Yes, men and women have a unique set of challenges. For instance men jave much higher suicide rates. I'm not saying that you are wrong about women. Unfortunately the feminists movement wants to push out the absolute best solution. Chivalry and marriage. That's why I advocate for both amd will teach my son and daughter to behave this way.
