Self custody LN ?! How does that even work ? Doesn't LN need open channels between wallets and a whole L2 separate ledger from L1 BTC ? Seems there would be counter party risk here but I'm no developer so idk
You can withdraw your sats from lightning to on-chain anytime you want.
It is worth it to delve deeper into how lightning works, so you can understand why it can be fully non-custodial. There are plenty of YT videos out there 🙂
