I've had Google Music / Google Play Music / YouTube Music since it launched back in 2011. How does the Tidal music catalog compare? Can I have family or shared accounts?
Tidal is high res (flac), yes to Family accounts, catalog is good ( I can’t compare)
You can have a family plan on Tidal, which is able to hold up to six accounts.
The catalog is somewhat similar to YouTube Music, but the audio quality holds overall higher quality.
There's even a HiFi Plus plan, which costs a bit more than a standard plan.

Tidal is my favorite because the # of plays needed before an artist earns money is far less than any other platform. There’s only been one time I’ve not been able to find a track on Tidal and that’s bc the artist wrote it for a family members passing I think.
i was honestly just considering switching to tidal, but i can't use it with google home devices. i have one of those in every room of my house and use them for music every single day.
