I somehow agree with this meme. But I also look not too far back in our history and think we've got a long way. We still have places like Russia where you have to choose between forced labour and going to fight in Ukraine if you don't jump from the balcony, or places like North Korea where they get your family too "because that's traitor DNA". It's not "nice" everywhere, but we have the possibility to make things better. And a fighting chance is all I need.
