Squatting is a natural resting position. During my 15 years living and teaching in Taiwan, people often commented on how natural this was for me, saying it’s not something they see many foreigners do. For me, it’s always felt more comfortable than sitting in a chair.

If squatting doesn’t come naturally to you, try adding just a few minutes of it into your day—it’s incredible for your body and feels natural once you get the hang of it. 🙏🏻💜

Ain’t no joke to this , my bosses 80 yr old mother , a short Korean woman , she still makes our kimchi and when she gets something of a lower shelf , she squats all the way to the ground to get it ,, she’s gonna live forever and I’m gonna die early of back pain among other ailments
