My son is talking about getting his friends to set up a ShakePay account. It's basically about having access to the Visa card to spend on the web.
I like it because it's not really a credit card. It's more like a debit card. They also get the reward in bitcoin.

Sounds like a prepaid credit card. I have the exact same thing with EQ Bank which gives a better rate and very rarely use it. They charge merchants credit card fees, customers need to add funds like a bank and you don’t build credit.
I think #shakepay is great, but wouldn’t recommend this product unless you’re using Shakepay as a replacement for a bank or for convenience reasons.
