Assuming that’s even accurate, that’s 1952, seven years after the Holocaust. Do you know the meaning of Statute of Limitation or why it exists? It’s an expiration date for civil claims because the passage of too much time makes a proper accounting for what happened nearly impossible.

Saying the SOL tolled is not a comment on the merits of the initial claim — they might be highly metetricious. Just after enough time passes, it’s no longer possible to do it justly or properly.

Black Americans 🇺🇸 still suffer from slavery and everything else that goes on in America 🇺🇸 would you like to come on my podcast and have the conversation

Appreciate the offer, but it’s not a topic I’m especially interested in. Just feel like reparations is a dead end for the reasons I said. And the Jews might have gotten *some* civil remedy for the Holocaust, but they were persecuted for two-thousand years, and other races and ethnicities too. Just a non-starter IMO after so much time. Have to settle up recent claims, e.g., the persecution of the unvaccinated, before the SOL tolls on them too.

Also not a fan of treating all black people as “blacks” or all jewish people as “jews”. Your ancestry is important, but you are still an indivdual, not responsible for what others of similar ancestry do, and not one undifferentiated mass of ethnicity. Everyone has a different experience. Not wise to lump them together IMO.

Sounds like you’re coming from a good place, though.

Ok have a nice one 👍🏽
