How the fuck are meme tokens a fad in 2025? How are these things any different from the ICOs, the altcoins, the ERC20s? Instead of launching a PoW chain people are literally just minting the dumbest shit they can imagine and people love it.

There are legions of dead altcoins that actually tried (at least in theory) to do something. Meanwhile people are buying DICKBUTTFART unironically.

The facade of legitimacy is gone. This is a good thing. There's a marketplace for value, and a marketplace for gambling. Life is good, except for the gamblers.
