I think most people are sexually degenerate to one degree or another these days, but the real problem is when they try to justify their particular brand of it as okay (because it's "not as bad as those other people over there!") instead of actively trying to change.

Mental illness causes a person to not see reality, and they can't face hard truths about themselves and others (and we are all mentally ill to some extent, just most people have the same illnesses so we see each other as "normal").
