Imagine the home school rates if women didn’t need to work to make the family budget work.

Young men should strive to earn top 10% incomes so their wife can stay home with the kids.

There are aviation and diesel mechanics making $200K with overtime and $150K without OT. Lots of trades are also useful skills that can allow you to run your own business and make plenty of money to support a family on a single income.

The very first luxury we bought when we started making decent money was my wife’s early retirement. She quit working a few years before we even had a second car.

Why not have the wife make $300k and the dude raises the kids?

Why does it matter who brings home the bacon so long as the family is secure and everyone is happy?

Woman biologically are better at raising children. Estrogen allows us extra patience when a baby cries, and since we carry the child we are more tuned into their needs. Men with higher levels of testosterone don't handle high pitch crying as well as a woman. There is nothing wrong with any scenario, but men and woman are built to come together for a reason 🩵 it's not obtainable for everyone. However, cutting out habits makes it more attainable 🙏

Interesting. But I think while people can be biologically/genetically “better” at or predisposed to various things, this in no way sets in stone a persons destiny. Why not seek the balance that works for each individual person or couple?
