Samourai encouraged people to believe they were being hostilely targeted by Luke with no evidence. Knots forked away from Bitcoin when the OP_RETURN max was 40 and hasnt changed it since. Knots has always been filtering Samourai whirlpool transactions from its mempool, for a benign technical reason, for years.
Samourai used this as an opportunity to do what they always do on social media: malign people and seek attention.
Filtering = censoring
These transactions are not spam and are only censored in Knots, which Luke is obviously using.
It’s a config setting, just like you can dictate the size of your node’s mempool.
You can change it.
Are you suggesting that Samourai, or yourself, has the authority to tell me or anybody else how we should set up our node’s configuration?
It’s the default, it takes a button click for the user to change it.
Run a node, change the default, quit complaining, and start mining.
And what do you think about Scamourai increasing the drama with unsubstantiated claims they were the victim of intentional hostile actions? Do you think that improved the dialogue or degraded it into divisive fighting?
