In a time when women would do anything to prevent a pregnancy before marriage. Most of the time is was the logical act of NOT having sex . If u did get preg before, The cultural shame placed on you and your family disowning you was awful. That was probably a narrative that got used as the free sex of the 60’s got pushed to set up the abortion narrative to be seen as the savior to the pregnancy prob which then would be manipulated into a womans choice issue. IMO The choice has never changed tho you’ve been tricked into seeing the wrong choice: its always been about your choice to have sex or not . *
