Here we obviously have different views. There is use and abuse.
The user paid the network for it…so why not?
This is not only a monetary question, but also concerns ethical-cultural dimensions of bitcoin culture and community: Non monetary data don’t belong on the blockchain to keep it slim and usable for as many people as possible. This seems to have been part of the bitcoin culture from the beginning. Obvious corruption of bitcoin core devs want to change it.
