I honestly love this watch. Lowkey and classy with Rolex build quality and Day-Date vibes for 2k brand new.
Plus I bought this watch to celebrate how far I came so quickly in life so it has that meaning and sentimental value to me.

Smart choice imo - when you're buying something to treat yourself/celebrate a milestone you can't go wrong with a good mechanical Swiss watch, they will (over a long time horizon) hold value and likely increase in value.
When I first got a good job I splurged at the Gucci Store instead lol. Wasn't as smart back then. Was fun but definitely short time preference shit 😅
These days when I spend a lot on something it's always an appreciating asset. So I wouldn't buy a brand new car, go with a ten year old Golf instead, spend the rest on a nice watch, makes you happy and it's a long time preference decision.
That's just me anyway.
