Sure seems like A LOT of cities / towns are knocking down older schools and pouring a ton of money into building new ones on the outskirts of town.

There were a lot of older schools at different levels nestled nicely in neighborhoods and they’ve all been shut down or torn down and replaced with schools further away.

The newer ones all look like prisons with their 8ft concrete walls surrounding the playgrounds.

Prisons, schools, hospitals….same vibe.
