South Korea has expressed "grave concern" over Russia's bid to seal a defense pact with North Korea. The agreement, if approved, would commit Moscow and Pyongyang to providing mutual assistance in the event either side is attacked. South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for the immediate withdrawal of North Korean troops from Russia and an end to any illegal cooperation.
