When I mention this to people, suicide being included, most are surprised but a lot of people also simply brush it off like that isn’t a glaring issue with the gun debate. Similarly to examples of states in America that have lots of guns but low gun violence compared to very regulated states that have high gun crime.
Yes, those things are never mentioned. It shows that the calls for disarming Americans are disengenuous, which makes you wonder what are the real reasons for trying to disarm them?
