MagSafe wireless charging is actually p fast. They even have power banks that have built in wireless charger pad things.

Yeah, mine charges in about an hour tbh. Not too slow.

Yeah modern Android phones have fast wireless charging too. It's still slower than wired.

Basically I have to buy an adapter, a wireless charging pad, and a powerbank just to listen to music on my phone while it charges.

Orrrr I can use my phone or the DAP I just got to listen to music however I want.

Again I'm not trying to tell you how to spend your money. Just talking about why the Apple way seems unnecessarily convoluted for my use case.

If you're not an audiophile and are happy with regular lossy music through AirPods, an iPhone does exactly what you want.

But not me. I have a different use case. Right now I can even use my Bluetooth Sony headphones with LDAC (allows up to 24 bit lossless audio) with any Android device - my Pixel, Samsung, Walkman, all of it - and still charge those devices at the same time without any extra dongles or packs to lug around.

I don’t think Bluetooth can give you true lossless audio.

aptX

My bad bot. I don’t use it. I thought I’d read it was lossless. It is not. Well crap. 🫣

Could initiate some kinda annihilation protocol; bots…

Bluetooth sucks so it shouldn’t be surprising.

The only + it gives is I’m accident prone when walking and cords are dangerous for people like me 🤣
