Every time you go online, someone’s watching—your ISP, advertisers, trackers.

If you’re using Bitcoin? Your txs can be linked to an IP address.

I just dropped a guide on using nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpq68euw93e4cam59llcmydav0akwjk2p4nfy3p85pn22xv9y2jxuzqf35lee to protect your privacy—Bitcoin or not.

And you can pay with BTC, LN & on-chain. You can even put money in an envelope and mail it.

The most anonymous/private VPN

have you heard of hydraveil? it might be more private.. https://podcast.simplifiedprivacy.com/mullvad/index.html

Isnt on kycnot.me. Overwise mullvad is more specialized on VPN (ram-only, perfect jurisdiction, etc...)

trying to get kicked off youtube again? 🤙

Will watch. You cover highly relaxant topics. Love it. Instantly zapped you. V4V

You rock

You should mention Obscura, which is combined with Mullvad, the best

I actually haven't heard of that! What is it?

Multi hop vpn. First node is a obscura second node is mullvad. Neither then see full in or out.

Basically it is a service that introduces an initial hop when you establish the connection, for instance:

Your Device -> Obscura -> Mullvad VPN (exit server) -> Internet

In this way, Obscura knows your IP but does not know where you browse, whilst Mullvad knows where you browse, but not who you are :)

I don’t really like BTC because transactions are all easily tracked from wallet to wallet, other cryptos like XMR provide better privacy along with other benefits like lower rates or faster transactions

Do you have any concern about tradeoffs regarding

-frequency and ease of consensus rule changes

-difficultly of participation in consensus running a node if the network were to scale because of data requirements of ring signatures (causing the chain to bloat)
