Hard to use them consistently when you both have to manually approve every post, AND barely have active users.
The Amethyst social graph on community is highly misleading in this regard; I WISH the IP2 and MDE communities were as active as they seem on the surface.
Yeah they're going to have to automate it somehow. There's no way you can run a group at scale where you have to manually approve every single post.

I've made one that might be useful called n/Discuss which is for sharing notes with active/interesting discussion within them, that might get missed cos they're not from big accounts or z4pped or otherwise trending.
That is probably the only useful idea for a Community I've had ::)
yes. things are early and right now there is too much friction to use them, and not enough clients supporting them, but i think we'll work it out over time
I'm using them. Although I need to chill out on making communities. I really want more ppl using communities, but it's not going to be reddit over night.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 HA ha ha. I know. After I make a community I'm like okay I'm done I'm all set. And then I'll wake up in the morning and I'm like oh this would be a really good idea I think a lot of people would really want to join this one! And then I make it and shit, and I'm like fuck I need to stop lol
Because theoretically I mean let's just say tomorrow a thousand people join them. That's cool and let's just say that Nobody ends up posting in any of them so what's the point? You get what I'm saying.
