oh, i think it depends on your circles. plus there are like 2.3 billion christians on the planet who are likely uncomfortable with the reality. its the underbelly.
its like slavery and genocide in america. america is one amazing experiement but its underbelly is beyond bizarre. most americans dont like talking about it much some people want to keep it out of school.
i think its important to know so we dont repeat it. hell maybe we can repair the damage done.
Yea, as I'm reading the descriptions of Christian attitudes in the 5th and sixth centuries, certainly by some of their leaders, it's very similar to the totalitarian/authoritarian disasters that we've witnessed over the twentieth century.
The author writes well so it's not a dry historical academic type book. I'm about half way through, more darkness to come.
