We saw a stark example of non-thinking herd mentality five years ago.
Exactly, however, some of those people really got punched in the mouth and now distrust authority.
So the elites try to scheme by acknowledging conspiracy theories to also control that part of the market - e.g. that the corona virus was cooked in a lab.
They don't care if you think that it came from a bat or in a lab, as long as you never get access to the information that viruses have never been isolated and don't exist and vaccines are meant to depopulate.
A slippery bunch.
