It's basically saying;
"If you don't get it, I'm not going to teach you"
What kinda garbage is that?

Some people don’t want to learn they just want to argue
And the problem is you don't find out what one using that quote. It just assumes everyone wants to argue.
And that makes sense when you're building something others don't understand yet, like bitcoin... I'm sure many wanted to argue it won't work opposed to learn and find out if it will...
But as a general statement in today's world,
Kinda makes the person look like an ass if this is a quote or motto lived by...
Take the time to at least find out.
You could end up teaching / helping the next billionaire.
By the time Satoshi noted that in Bitcoin Talk he had already explained a lot and the person he was responding to (byte master) was wasting his time with dumb statements like 10 minute block times are too long and listing reasons why bitcoin wouldn’t work, a glass half empty kind of guy. 
But see how he at least took the time to find out what one the person is before writing that?
As a stand alone quote, it's trash asf and encourages others to give folks the cold shoulder when they may be genuinely asking or curious!
Found out he just wanted to argue, I dont have time for this.
But I would argue, that without folks that want to argue and are pressuring your ideas, products, thoughs, values, etc...
