Imagine having a travel wallet that can be with you wherever you travel in the world, so long as you can remember the twelve recovery words (or write it down and stitch it into the seam of your jacket).

That’s the vision I want to achieve with #nostr safebox. Having travelled and getting my wallet ripped off was the worst feeling in the world. I never want to go through that nightmare again and it’s been my primary motivation.

I also want to provide a solution for individuals who have little or no physical security (phone gets confiscated), save for safeguarding those twelve words that enables them to get back on their feet again.

I want to create a capability where you can use any phone or computer to securely access your data AND your funds.

This is just the beginning of a new wallet architecture that respects my agency as individual. It can work with the state, but not for the state.
