I’m fine with AI generated songs. Some people craft anthems such as I Glued My Balls To My Butthole Again 😂. I just can’t stand people zapping their own shitty songs to bump them up the Top 40 chart when there are much better songs that should be at the top. Top 40 chart algo change is way overdue.

Factor in likes, plays, comments, how many playlists have added the song, number of streams, number of nostr live status events, etc. There needs to be more data points than just amount of sats zapped.

I agree, but when we look at additional metrics it often gets stale. Whatever the combo is, it needs to be fresh.

Why can’t you just use metrics from the past 7 days like you do with amount of sats? Just put something in there. Top 40 chart makes me sad these days.

What about amount played on 'other Value4value music podcasts? Or different music podcasts so a sort of Music podcast reach and popularity Or boosts coming in from non' wavlake places

I notice myself. Checking global feed more and more. To see what everybody is up to.. finding stuff there that already came Nd went on the 'new' list.
