The US government doesn't issue the credit score. Private companies do, and nobody is forced to use them.
In America credit scores usually only affect whether or not you can get a loan from a private bank.
it also affects your ability to rent an apartment, or a house. that’s the thing, bc of that your credit score has turned into a social credit score.
Could you imagine being categorized by what the people on nostr think about you?
americans: "and now I will put these slices of ananas on that pizza"
also americans:"how can chineses eat dogs so disgusting"
LMAO
as an italian what do you think about toasted ravioli?
dont sound so bad... Italian ravioli like these with pears and gorgonzola are so so good 😋 but there are also all the chinese raviolis that are also good but very different... dont know exactly about toasted ravioli 🤔🤔🤔...
yummy 😍, toasted ravioli is ravioli that is fried and paired with Mariana sauce, created in St. Louis Missouri’s italian neighborhood “the hill”
the filling can be anything, it just has to be fried
I guess I should have asked the Drill Sergeants to stop the bus from the Airport on our way to basic training so I could get some good food. I haven’t been back to Saint Louis but maybe I should put it on the list for next year’s vacation.
Apples and oranges.

In China, social credit scores steal the American "credit score" name to make it seem acceptable, but in reality it's a behavioral compliance and punishment score.
They used to be used more widely for jobs too. Never understood the jobs that didn’t require access to sensitive data required stellar (the justification that bad credit people will do bad things to get out of debt). I think that went away after everyone’s credit tanked a bit or i just haven’t seen it much more.
Also I’ve come to accept that credit scores for loans are for people who have no collateral to issue debt against.
