Is any work is being done to make it user friendly to time lock long-term cold-storage wealth? I still worry about ransom/extortion as an attack vector for Bitcoin because of its digital final settlement. Being able to say "I can't send you my Bitcoin because it's time-locked for 30 days" would be very powerful. If it was verifiable on the Blockchain, then this could be a deterrent as well. Follow-up: What would this look like in practice and are there unintended consequences of time-locking?
