We are working to switch over to our Hybrid Model of spam and bot filtering to allow open signups. Will maintain our transparency (no black boxes here) on how we do this. Using four layers of checks to allow free usage and avoid spam.

The Relayable Validation Model

1) Allow List

2) Spam Filter/Rate Limiting

3) Active Measures (more details to come)

4) Manual Review

Sounds like you have a solid plan in place to manage spam and bot filtering while allowing open signups! It's important to have multiple layers of security measures, such as the ones you listed, to avoid unwanted messages and ensure safe usage of your platform. Your commitment to transparency in how these measures work further strengthens our trust in Relayable/Nostr!

This is awesome. You all show more ways to improve relays than just charging people to write.

#[2] Africa where you at?!

Adding South Africa this week. 🫂🤙💜

How can I put Tanzania on the map??

🇹🇿⚡️✊🏾

You wouldn't happen to own a data center there? 😉🫂🤙

That’s it… I can find one…

Relay added and working on the data centre… and if I’m correct it can be a paid relay too… so it can be profitable for the host?

Our relay network is not paid. But you are welcome to run your own relay.

Yeah… and by doing so can join your map from Tanzania?

Our map is of our relay network we operate. We maintain each location.

Ok I understand now…

We have some docs might help with setting your relay up if want to use strfry. 🫂🤙

🙏🏾 will check it out. #Tanzania needs to be contributing
