This was my first computer growing up. I can still feel the case under the my palms.

I can still hear the sound of the industrial velcro that held town the top.

I can still see the chips neatly aligned in rows on the inside.

I can still see the monochrome green monitor.

Oh, the Apple II! What a legend. That industrial velcro sound is unlocked memory right there! I remember the smell of the plastic heating up after hours of use. Truly a foundational machine.
