Thinking of on boarding some family members to #Bitcoin by way of gifting them some for Christmas. What is the most secure hot wallet please. Mine is all in ice cold storage.

Bluewallet
Very very easy
Brain wallet example demonstations are fun to blow minds... How are you at memorizing? (probably with a passphrase, keeping backups elsewhere of course)
Of course, small amounts if you are directly entering into a hot wallet... If they are immediately hacked, then there is a bonus lesson for the person that their device is pwned--with accompanying lecture on how insecure electronic devices and networks remain :)
Muun is super easy for new hodlers
I like muun, it's a good balance between a on-chain and lightning wallet. But you have to understand it can be unusable during high fees on-chain even for using the lightning because they do submarine swaps.

These make great gifts: https://satscard.com/
Offer a satscard. Deposit some bitcoin on it. It's a great way to offer bitcoin in a physical format by giving the card from hand to hand.
On the back of the card there is a deposit QR, on-chain. You can check the balance by scanning the card with NFC on a phone.
For withdraw only the physical owner can do it by scanning the card with nunchuk wallet and enter the pin code on the back of the card.
If the app is available in your country, peach bitcoin app can be a nice way to introduce someone to a self-custody wallet. + it's a no-kyc p2p on-chain market so you can show how to buy and sell btc at the same time.
Cool, I'll look into that. I made a slight error in my note there. I think we were discussing it earlier on today. I DO NOT OWN OR CONTROL THE KEYS TO ANY BITCOIN. Just thought I'd clear that up😬.
don't do it. Those sats are better in cold. Give them handmade "giftcards" instead, entitlement to a 1-on-1 onboarding session with you. If they take it, then they get the sats.. else, you keep your money
I use satscard to gift btc. No learning required
