I assume your forced Microsoft use ends at work, so why don't you look at the list of supported controllers for mixxx.org it's Linux based and rock solid. No Mac, no Windows. I switched to it as soon as I learned scratch live didn't support FLAC. That was a long time ago. I like the Denon controllers, but yeah expensive if you go no laptop all in one style.

What is an S4?±

Naaa, mixx isn't really solid enough for performances. I've used it a few times, but I can't have it glitching up and crashing randomly in the middle of a show. It's feature packed and cool, I guess, but it has too many random glitches for me to trust it completely.

The S4 is the traktor device.

Never had a single issue with mixxx on Linux. What OS were you running it on?

Just pure Debian, nothing crazy. But it would crash for me frequent enough to where I wasn't comfortable using it for performance. Although an all fairness that was on my old laptop, and that thing was getting on the old side before I replaced it six months or so ago.

I am running Debian 13 now though, and I haven't really given it a proper trial on that.
