This is my favorite kind of photography.

One of my favorite photographers has this simple picture most people pass by when they're at the museum but I find it so funny.

The photographers make is WeeGee. He is who that movie Nightcrawler is probably about. He used to listen to police scanners and then go get there before they did and take pictures of scenes. Not necessarily meaning to be gruesome... But some were. Murders and such... In fact they say that the black dahlia killer arranged Elizabeth shorts body in such a way as to mimic one of Man Ray's (another photographer) photos in which he was honoring WeeGee.

Anyway,

There's a photo of a burning building and the firemen putting it out. But on the side there's a painted nestle hot cocoa ad and it says "Just add boiling water!"

I love it.
