I've got a gun and my bros outnumber you so I think I'll rape your wife and steal everything you own while you watch. Why wouldn't I?
We don’t want the entire society to fall into complete anarchy; ideally we construct systems that preserve the good and the true.
But I’m a realist and know that the state will never go away because evil is a real thing and state systems are a proven way to prevent unopposed chaos.
