No quantum computer today, or in the next decade, comes close to breaking Bitcoin. By the time a real threat emerges, Bitcoin will have already upgraded. Bookmark this and dunk on me later if Iâm wrong.
Rushing into unproven fixes isnât Bitcoinâs way, nor should it be. The best move is to buy time until a quantum resistant signature scheme is battle tested and obvious.
