A local bar owner told me he'd start accepting bitcoin payments when the price returned to what he purchased it at. This was somewhere around 20K. I believe he purchased his one and only purchase around 55K. I'll be stopping in to see him very soon. 🥹

Tell him to HODL!!!

He has been. He hasn't put in the work to understand what he's holding.

That didn't happen for me until Bitcoin got close to where I bought it at after a massive dip.

That's when I started to understand why it couldn't be killed & why it will go up in purchasing power forever.

Practically everyone I told to buy bitcoin starting at the $2k price range eventually bought between $55k and $60k. I told all of them to be prepared to hold for at least 4 years. Most started bitching about the price drop. I stopped recommending it unless asked. I hope they held.

I go back and forth with should I or shouldn't I recommend Bitcoin to people. It's probably best to let them come to you as you said.

Yep. That’s what I’ve found. You either get it or you don’t.

Realtalk, if they come to me their questions are so 10 years ago I don't have any good answers anymore

How is he supposed to accept Bitcoin at his bar? Running a Lightning node?

Any wallet would do with an exchange rate converter or even without tbh. At least in my bar. If only I had one.

What a sucker, he could have been making Bitcoin all bear market. SMH

i mentioned it to him a couple of times that he could DCA.

Being telling my family to buy since $200 people learn the hard way!

Bear market is the real price. That's the time to transact heavily.
