I have a 1970 Chevelle with a 496 bb. I also have a 2024 Tesla Model S Plaid. Now don’t get me wrong, my chevelle is not only “cool” to me, it was also my dream car. To get my chevelle to run in the 9’s and 10’s I’ve had to do some radical adjustments. What that means is, it is VERY loud, and extremely hot inside, due to stripping many luxuries, like air conditioning. So needless to say, it takes a whole helluva lota work to get it to run those speeds.

On the other hand, my model S will run in the 9’s very consistently. While having air conditioning, and “heating” the radio. So based on that alone, not to mention, no dealing with racing fuel, the amazing technology, the comfort, etc… I would say, “and this is clearly my opinion”, my Tesla is WAY cooler in almost every respect other than look. 🙂👊

Definitely more fun too. The sound of the engine when it supercharged. Ohhh nothing like the rumbling of the exhaust
