The first time I quit nicotine ages ago was when I was smoking cigarettes, vaping feels quite a bit easier in comparison.

Not wanting to jinx myself on day 3 lol. (🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞)

But the difference is walking past people smoking or vaping on the street doesn't make me feel anything at all. The vape clouds /smells aren't appealing, and neither is the smell of cigarettes.

I remember when I quit cigarettes the smell of second hand smoke was extremely tempting.

I'd assumed you were quitting cigs and going through a hard time. Just vaping?! Easy breezy

Hmm I wouldn't say it was easy lol. Definitely easier. Although 8 have no idea why that is. I probably increased my nicotine intake when I switched to vaping (it's hard to calculate apparently, the difference in combustion and vaporising affecting % of nicotine). As it's v v easy to chain vape.

Ah, yeah. Actually thought you're break down was pretty good. Just giving you cheek

Less of your cheek😬.

More of yours?

I don't give cheek, I dispense wisdom.

Vapes lack lots of the other chemicals in cigs. One major one is Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) that have a calming effect, and are thought to increase the addiction.

Yeah I quit smoking years ago so happy I did

I quit the cigs a long time ago. Tried hundreds of times and then one time, as if by magic, I managed to stay off them. After 6 months or so, smoking never entered my thoughts again. Weird how it goes from being front and centre, the star of the show, to a vague memory.

I could do with knocking the booze on the head, too.

almost a year for me no cigs, saw a pack of Virginia slims reds on the ground (my favorite), felt nothing, knew i was finally getting somewhere. vaping doesn’t appeal to me anymore, but this kids on campus are absolutely enamored, so i buy it for them.

i found solace in the torturous hell of zero nicotine.
