Reading old health texts pre-1900s, some things are so wrong but some observations are so right….

If we cared to promote health in our environments we would reduce fear appeals in media and take a constructive approach to communicating problems in a way that engenders a sense of agency that we can overcome.

nostr provides a beautiful protocol that allows us to overcome the tendency to stoke fear and exchange ideas in thoughtful discourse. Is it perfect no but it presents a meaningful alternative.
