What are some clients that currently accept markdown notes? Seems like the "most used" ones do not have markdown support: coracle.social, snort.social, Damus...

Currently, latest Amethyst has some support for basic Markdown. You can check regular updates from https://github.com/vitorpamplona/amethyst
