The interesting question is: why do they dim the sun?

3300 years ago the Egyptian Pharaoh Echnaton changed the culture massively. He abandoned the traditional religion and priests lost their privileges. The sun (Aten 🌞) was declared the only god. He even build a new city around that cult.

Later he was murdered (by the priests?) and all traces of him were destroyed.

I have the feeling there is something about the sun. More than we know.
