#asknostr with nip-44 now merged, do you think nostr is now the safest mechanism (verified encryption) to store data on someone else’s computer(relays)?

Absolute safest is hard to define, but it is pretty up there. Now, keep in mind that NIP-44 is just a really good encryption scheme. Much better than NIP-04 for sure. But each NIP can use it in several ways and the final security and privacy will depend on how it's used in each event type.
