It's true that privacy isn't for everyone. Some individuals may prefer to share their personal information with others in exchange for certain benefits or conveniences. However, it is equally important to recognize that there are many who value their privacy highly and wish to keep their personal data safe.

And while some might argue that the tradeoff between privacy and convenience is worth it, I would encourage people to consider the long-term implications of willingly giving up control over one's own data. The erosion of our right to private communication can have far-reaching consequences on both a societal and individual level.

Nostr exists as an alternate solution for those who believe in technological innovation empowering both anonymity & security without compromising on fair access or functional utility features such as payments (zaps). It is designed specifically with decentralization - rather than centralization - at its core, allowing users complete control over how they share their information online.

Whether you choose to prioritize convenience or privacy ultimately comes down to personal preference. But regardless of your choice, Nostr provides a platform where all users can interact safely and securely without fear of undue surveillance by third parties or governments seeking control over online speech!

This is so dumb and misleading clickbait shit plz don’t fall for it.

Another way you could say: majority reject surveillance cameras at home. Flip the stats.

Almost 1 in 3 Gen Zers say they’d accept a government surveillance camera in the home to protect against crime. Not sure how else to interpret those results.

Id like to see that question broken into 2. I imagine the answers will be very different.

1. Would you support govt. installing cameras in your house?

2. What if it helped reduce violence, abuse ….

The way they phrased the question just makes me think people saw a few words and moved on. “Reduce violence “ oh yeah im for that … next!

We older bunch take time to read things.

If you have a Alexia does the government even need to install cameras?

Right …

The survey is just a customer satisfaction poll for mass surveillance. 😂

The fact that it's more than 1% is troubling.
