In 10 years over 99% of all coins will be mined so what are they gonna use all that power for? (I don’t think this is a problem. I’m not worried about “security budget”.)

I’ve got my popcorn ready watching ppl blow their load on bitcoin mining appliances when it’s basically all gonna be out there within a couple years.

As Bitcoin grows it's going to unlock all sorts of innovative sources of energy. Bitcoin is going to revolutionize the way we generate, use, and store energy. Faces will melt.

Yes that’s definitely the mainstream bitcoin mining narrative. Most plebs getting into mining however do not have innovative sources of energy (the power outlet in their basement).

I encourage ppl to mine if they are using a free energy they source they’ve cultivated themselves (maybe a neighbors’ power outlet). Otherwise, I don’t get the point.
