Now I've been on my current employers ass about paying me for the value I bring and i got $1.50 raise to $16.50/hr, but its still below the $17/hr average for the cannabis industry in Michigan🙄 and I've proven I'm far above average.
I'm not saying I'm the best at what I do, I'm just saying it's me vs who ever wants to lose...
Go for it! Never sell yourself short. You did right by asking for the raise, giving your employer the option to retain you

Cool. I have been in every aspect of the cannabis biz for 25 years in CA. We got annihilated with legalization. A real shit show here.

It’s been a long slow train wreck. We had it so good without the state stepping in and trying to grab fiat for themselves while they bankrupt the legacy folks. All I do now is watch my 6 plants grow in my yard all summer and use the medicine all winter. It’s been humbling.
