The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) latest survey of their membership reveals expectations that #houseprices will fall at the same time that #rents will rise as competition for #housing moves from buying to renting as #mortgage rates stay high(er).

the #housingcrisis is hurting this who are worse off, who cannot afford to buy but need to either relocate for #work or other reasons...

Even if building houses is (part of) the answer, more immediate relief is required, urgently!
