Stop. For a moment.
See if you can pay attention to the beginning of your next inhalation. Where do you feel it most acutely? It might be your nose, your abdomen, your chest, or perhaps somewhere else?
If you don’t see it immediately, don’t worry. Your body will inhale again in a moment, without you trying to control it.
Just pay attention to where you feel it occur. See if you can hold your attention at the start of the inhalation for 3 consecutive breaths.
