Yeah I'm getting No Metadata a lot too nostr:nprofile1qqsvyxc6dndjglxtmyudevttzkj05wpdqrla0vfdtja669e2pn2dzuqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7lr3n5c

Hopefully it gets fixed. I like pollerama, it's a dark horse of nostr clients:)

You can add the metadata to whatever is missing πŸ˜›

Yeah it doesn't seem to be loading it from the imdbtt or accepting edits, for me at least. It continues to show no Metadata πŸ€”

Hmm it should accept edits weird lemme try

Seems a bit laggy maybe. Not sure what is going on lol

Works for me just added the metadata for batman the dark knight returns part 2 , did you sign the event after clicking publish? Sometimes the signer doesn't automatically sign new kinds of events.

Yeah it was there as No Metadata. Now it's gone entirely. Let me try again

Oh weird, the film I was trying to add is called Drug War, but I think you've added Batman meta data to the TT number. I'm so confused lol

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt2165735/

Huh lol let me correct it

Done

Metadata is supposed to be manually entered, it doesn't fetch from IMDb , but anyone can do it, not necessarily the reviewer and it prioritizes based on WoT

https://www.themoviedb.org/ has an API for automatically grabbing images and metadata for films. There is a similar TV project too. It's used by projects like Jellyfin, Kodi & Stremio.

https://developer.themoviedb.org/docs/getting-started

Interesting. How do I plug it in to Jellyfin?

This makes sense. I’ll try it out. Thanks

I'll check it out most of these require an API key, which sucks cause it gets rate limited, plus we're building a parallel decentralized database anyway.

First time I've seen this:

https://www.omdb.org/en/gb

API is permissioned behind an API key, we don't care for permissions we build our own decentralized movie database

OMDB? (Not TMDB as Ryan mentioned)

https://www.omdb.org/en/gb/content/About

It says it's creative commons. No idea tho

They don't even have an API, atleast I couldn't find one

Ok, I don't really know what I'm talking about lol

I just never seen this IMDb alt before
